Gallery Route One

Standing in front of my works, many of which have already been sold. In this photo, Crawling 1 (the topmost snail), Reaching (the large elk), and Transforming (the mushrooms in red and gold) have all found new homes.

...Travel 642 miles for an art show?  SURE!

My Point Reyes adventure was fantastic! Travelling from Oregon to California on Amtrak is an easy, less expensive way to travel and I really enjoyed it.  I also enjoyed Point Reyes station (what a cute little town!), eating at Due West and Station House Cafe, camping at Olema, and visiting the Tule Elk preserve and the beach.

I felt so supported by everyone at GRO, including the ever-patient Jenny-Lynn Hall who assisted me during installation.  Everything went so smoothly.  I could not have asked for more.  Thanks to everyone who showed up at the reception, I truly loved seeing each one of you and meeting new people too!  I gotta say, I was really feeling the love!!!

They were kind enough to film the artwork while we discussed the ideas, concepts, and processes behind it all.  Terra Art Collective begins at  https://youtu.be/zK5XOqMBpHA?t=1279 and my own talk starts at https://youtu.be/zK5XOqMBpHA?t=1500 ...tell me what you think of my frog story!

"Ecolibrium" is up for one last week...

Gallery Route One is open 11 to 5, Thursday through Monday.  Our final show day is October 2, which will feature a special presentation at 4:30 pm by Terra Art Collective member Deborah Kennedy -- Nature Speaks: Art and Poetry Alive.  (Just tell them I sent you!)  The insect-inspired encaustic artist Shannon Amidon will also be present for the show closing.  I hope you get a chance to see all our original art up close and personal while you still can.
